We believe that every man, woman, and child is important to God, therefore they are important to us. We provide children services for ages 2 thru 5th grade. Our children learn to worship and follow a Bible based curriculum that includes activities. Kingdom Kids meet every Sunday, expect for our family communion service (1st Sunday of every month).
We believe the youth of today is a powerful generation. Our Ignite Ministry is here to help the youth make an impact that will last forever; by teaching biblical truth, love and leadership. Our youth includes grades 6th thru 12th and meets the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month.
Brothers In Arms
What's Up Man? Need a brother to help you through tough times? Come be a part of our Brotherhood, where NO MAN IS LEFT BEHIND! Join us in our men's ministry designed to bring men together to encourage one another and stand as one body in Christ.
As men we are not to fly solo, but be encouraged by brothers who understand. Brothers in Arms seeks to facilitate, exhort and elevate men in their homes, church and community as well as reach their full potential in Christ. Come Be a Part of Our Brotherhood! We meet quarterly at various locations. For more information, please contact minister Reggie Winbush.
Filling in the Gap
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
~ James 1:27 NIV
Everyone needs a little help now and then to make ends meet in today's tough economy. To that end The River operates the Filling in the Gap Benevolence Ministry, supplying a variety of nonperishable goods to those in need. Filling in the Gap is funded by the church, with its volunteer staff using a variety of smart shopping methods and strategies to obtain the products at the lowest cost possible. The bags we use to distribute pantry goods are generously provided by Whole Foods.
Is today’s modern society creating chaos in your life?
Our Small Group Ministry: Virtuous Women, is designed to encourage women to pursue: The Art of being beautiful: walking with a meek and quiet spirit, which exemplifies her natural beauty. The Art of being bold: having boldness in her faith that gives her the confidence to stand for what is good and right. The Art of being balanced: multi-tasking the unthinkable: serving the Lord, spouse, kids, home, work, school schedules, and let’s not forget….chauffer, yet she keeps her joy while remaining humbled, choosing to live a balanced lifestyle before the Lord. We are Virtuous Women! We meet quarterly at various locations. For further information, contact Merlinda Winbush.
